Back in the days of Bush Senior when Iraq was beginning to invade Saudi Arabia, or at least that’s what I remember, I wrote a letter to the white house…to the president himself, telling him that because all of Iraq’s troops were invading Kuwait and busy that we should attack Iraq itself and take Saddam Hussein down. A few weeks later they announced Operation Desert Storm, that they were bombing Iraq…and while I knew even at 9 years old that it probably was an adviser or whatnot that came up with the idea, I still hoped, just a little, that I would get a letter, or something, giving me credit, or at least thanks.
